GT Radial is pleased to announce winners from the recent online tire set giveaway, active from November 11, 2013 through January 11, 2014. The contest, exclusive to GT Radial social media users and website visitors generated a great deal of excitement, including participation from fans in 37 different countries around the world. By visiting GTRadial.com and filling out a short entry form, users were qualified to receive four new performance tires and fitting of up to USD $700.
The promotion was designed to engage current and potential users in an exciting and different way. By offering winners a choice of size and patterns from GT Radial’s extensive line of products, the brand strived to emphasize the flexibility and needs of customers, as well as show gratitude to current and potential customers using GT Radial’s online platforms. In addition, the contest helped more than double the traffic to GTRadial.com’s global site from October to December 2013, as well as increase interaction and mentions on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
“Our customers are very loyal and passionate about GT Radial, and our goal with our tire giveaway was to show that we appreciate them, as well as to engage people that might not be so familiar about the brand”, said Adrian Thio, Senior Manager of International Marketing. “As a result of the campaign’s success, we hope to continue to run more such promotions in the future”.
In the end, the following lucky winners were randomly selected by a third party program to ensure selection integrity. All received brand new sets of GT Radial tires of their choice at a nearby location:
Ricardo Panjaitan – Indonesia
Hailing from Indonesia, Ricardo won four GT Radial tires for his Chevy Aveo car. As part of his redemption, he also had the opportunity to visit the GT Radial Indonesia office, where he was presented his prize.
GT Radial has a large and passionate fan base in Indonesia, one that Ricardo is proud to be a part of. He has been a GT Radial driver for years, so he was certainly happy to be awarded a new set for his vehicle, as well as fitting. He commented, “I am currently using GT Radial tires on my car and must say that the quality is as good as other premium tire brands. I will replace my old tires to GT Radial again for sure. Thanks GT Radial!”
Vanessa Ordaneza – The Philippines
Vanessa was the only female prize winner, and got the chance to redeem her prize of four Champiro GTX tires and fitting on Valentine’s Day. "I won GT Radial Tires; needless to say it's practically the most economical and good quality tires I know, and the only tire that makes sense for price, quality, and people”, Vanessa said.
One of the things that GT Radial takes pride in is its people, and the local team wanted to make sure that Vanessa had a fun experience through the process. “Froilan, the Davao Area Manager, was so helpful and patient with me. I am one lucky girl to have 4 wheels on Valentine's Day!”
Artur Boyadjian – Armenia
Only a small percentage of the large number of overall entrants came from the country of Armenia, but Artur was nonetheless lucky enough to be one of those chosen. He selected new Champiro HPY tires for his Mazda Cx7.
Artur explained that he was already a GT Radial user before winning his new, upgraded tires. “I have always preferred to use GT Radial Tires because of the high quality of the tires that correspond to the worldwide standards. Also, I was flattered by the friendly and professional attitude of the staff of the Armenian representation of GT Radial Tires. Becoming one of the winners was a nice surprise that once more strengthen my preference.”
Robert Rogers - USA
The promotion received a large amount of entrants from the US, but Robert was the only one lucky enough to be randomly selected as a winner. He was able to select from GT Radial’s wide range of light truck tires, and ended up choosing brand new Savero HT2 tires and fitting for his GMC Sierra.
Robert was very excited after trying his new tries, mentioning how he loves his new ride, and that the tires handle extremely well and comfortably. As a new GT Radial driver, he has the chance to experience the brand for the first time.
Tony Ong - Singapore
Tony entered the tire giveaway promotion from Singapore and was lucky enough to win a new set of Champiro 228 tires for his Toyota Vios. Living in the city, he needs tires that can withstand the tests of daily urban driving.
As a GT Radial Facebook fan who enjoys entering online promotions, Tony was very excited to win and redeem his prize at a new GT Radial Performance Centre nearby his location. He now has a new set of tires to drive around the city and a story to tell his friends.
