GT Radial Drift Team with the Indonesian prominent drifters such as Rio Saputro, Demas Agil, Dean Zen, Soni Riharto, Danny Ferdito, Reggi Anggoro, Ben Satrio, Valentino Ratulangi, Herdiko, M. Fenno and also Josh Boettcher from Australia managed to have a satisfactory result in the final round of Formula Drift Asia 2012 in Indonesia which take place at JI Expo Kemayoran 17 and 18 November 2012.
This final event of FD Asia 2012 Series is joined by numerous world class drifters. Teuku Djan Ley, FD Asia 2010 Champion joined the event, competing with Daigo Saito, Ken Gushi and Robby Nishida from Japan, Josh Boettcher from Australia, Saranon Overdrive from Thailand and Fredric Aasbo from Norway.
Although GT Radial drifter from Malaysia, Ee Yong Chern who is joining Petronas Drift series in Malaysia did not participate, GT Radial Drift Team still manage to put 10 drifter into the Tandem Battle round. Josh Boettcher and Rio Saputro even managed to claim a Top 8 places in the qualifying round which meant that they straight away went to the Top 16 round.
In the Top 16 round which took place on Sunday, 18 November 2012, GT Radial Drift Team managed to put Rio Saputro, Josh Boettcher, Reggi Anggoro, Dean Zen and Danny Ferdito. Through a close fight with the other drifters, Rio Saputro and Josh Boettcher went through to Top 8 round. Rio Saputro even became the last Indonesian drifter standing in this round.

It is really a very satisfactory result for GT Radial Drift Team who managed to put itself as the Runner Up in the Formula Drift Asia 2012 series. It is something that the team is very proud of considering that with the limited experience of the Indonesian young talented drifters, combined with the more experienced drifters from Malaysia and Australia, GT Radial Drift Team managed not only to compete but also be better than more well known and most experienced world class drifters in such a prestigious drifting event in the world - Formula Drift Asia 2012.
